So this is my next bike project! After riding a custom steel SS frame bike for the last few years I wanted to stay with a steel frame, so this is it. I have most of the parts already either just laying around or on other bikes that I can use. The only thing major that I will have to buy is a frok, most likely I will go for the Rock Shox Tora 318 U-Turn.

Soma
After riding Christy's greared bike monday I've been thinking of getting another greared bike. Don't worry the SS is going no where! I really like the Soma Groove that built up for Christy a couple of years ago, plus I have another Soma Frame just like hers that has never been built up.

Back on the Bike!!!
I have been able to get out on the bike two times this year so far! Not bad seeing how I didn't ride at all on 09. And Monday was great! It was the first time I road a greared bike in years. I have to admit was fun. I have been riding SS for a while now but pulling Seth in a trailer on a SS tough for this old guy. But what I like most was that Christy and Seth joined me in the woods this time! They hiked and threw rocks (Seths favorite).

Everlasting God!
Isaiah 40:28-31 (New Living Translation)
28 Have you never heard?
Have you never understood?
The Lord is the everlasting God,
the Creator of all the earth.
He never grows weak or weary.
No one can measure the depths of his understanding.
29 He gives power to the weak
and strength to the powerless.
30 Even youths will become weak and tired,
and young men will fall in exhaustion.
31 But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength.
They will soar high on wings like eagles.
They will run and not grow weary.
They will walk and not faint.

Finding Doors Together
Wow! That's about the only word to describe whats been happening lately! After getting back involved in music at Capstone God showed me that Leading Worship was a calling and passion that I had ignored for years. So when it became clear that being apart of the Capstone worship team was not where I needed to be, I was left wandering just what to do.
One Sunday evening Christy and I where talking about a local Church that we had been hearing a lot of good things about, so we took a look at the web site to see what they had going on. When we pulled up the web site Christy saw link for job openings, that's when we saw they where looking for a worship leader for DayClear (Contemporary Worship Service). Next thing I know we where putting together a resume and cover letter, Christy and I both felt this was something that we both where call to do together. I'm so glad God gives us the opportunity to work together, there is no way I would ever want to do anything without her!
So, we sent in the resume and cover letter, and just prayed that God would lead. You see we where not looking for this door but once we saw it we both felt that God was leading us to knock. After some phone calls, meetings, and prayer that door was opened. We are now again leading worship together at DayClear (Contemporary Worship Service).
For those of you who may not know DayClear Worship is the contemporary service at First Baptist Pendleton. It's a amazing Church that has a focus on Living Missional, which is something Christy and I are striving for everyday!
